Chief medical officer of Press Ganey Associates to speak at NIC Conference October 1

Annapolis, MD – The National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing and Care Industry announced that Dr. Thomas H. Lee, noted healthcare thought leader and chief medical officer of Press Ganey Associates, will be the Opening General Session speaker at the 24th NIC National Conference in Chicago on October 1 -3.

Known for his work on patient care and outcomes, Dr. Lee will discuss the ways in which innovation has changed and will continue to change the delivery of healthcare in the U.S. and what this means for care delivery systems for seniors. Additionally, he will discuss improvements in both the quality and efficiency of care, improvements in the patient experience, as well as the opportunities and the challenges the seniors housing and care industry faces in meeting the future housing and care needs of the nation’s aging population.

Dr. Lee has more than three decades of experience in healthcare performance improvement as a practicing physician, a leader in provider organizations, researcher and health policy expert. As CMO of Press Ganey, Dr. Lee is responsible for developing clinical and operational strategies to help providers across the nation measure and improve the patient experience with an overarching goal of reducing the suffering of patients as they undergo care, and improving the value of that care. Previously, Dr. Lee served as network president for Partners Healthcare System and CEO for Partners Community HealthCare, Inc., the integrated delivery system founded by Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

The NIC National Conference is the premier networking event for senior-level decision makers both on the debt and equity side and major operators of seniors housing and care.
