New Board Members and Officers Announced for NIC

Annapolis, Md. – Three new members have joined the board of directors for the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC), as announced today by the nonprofit organization.
Beth Mace, principal, AEW Capital Management, L.P., Angela Mago, SVP, national manager, KeyBank, and Arnold Whitman, CEO and co-chairman, Formation Capital, LLC, were elected to three-year terms starting on October 8, 2007. In addition, John Cobb, senior managing director, GE Healthcare Financial Services, was elected for a second three-year term.
NIC also announced its board officers for the 2007-08 term that started on October 8, 2007. Kathryn A. Sweeney, managing director, US Senior Housing, The GPT Group, is the newly elected board chair and Kevin J. McMeen, managing director, Merrill Lynch Capital, is vice chair. Rounding out the board are George V. Hager, Jr., chairman and CEO, Genesis HealthCare Corp., as secretary, and Randal J. Richardson, president, Classic Residence by Hyatt, as treasurer. In addition, Paul Dendy, president, LifeStyles, Senior Housing Managers, LLC, continues serving on the board as chair of the Operator Advisory Board.
