NIC BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTS 2013 OFFICERS

Two New Board Members Elected

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Board of Directors for the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC) announces its officers for the 2013 term and the election of two new board members. Three current board members were also elected for additional terms.

The officers for 2013 include Randy Richardson, John Moore, Brad Razook, Dan Biron, and Robert G. Kramer. The two new board members elected to the NIC Board of Directors are Kurt Read, Principal, RSF Partners, who has been elected to a three-year term and Ray Thivierge, Executive Vice President – West, Genesis HealthCare, who was elected to serve the remaining term of Genesis Healthcare, CEO, George Hager.

Dan Biron, Senior Vice President, Berkadia and Tim Fox, Executive Vice President, Senior Resource Group have been elected for additional three-year terms on the board. Bill Sheriff, CEO, Brookdale Senior Living, was elected for an additional two-year term.

The elections were held during NIC’s November board meeting, at which time the Board of Directors unanimously adopted an updated mission statement: To facilitate informed investment in the seniors housing and care industry.
