Adam Cohan

Senior Director, Portfolio Management / Greystar Development, LLC

Adam is a Portfolio Manager at Greystar overseeing a series of active adult opportunistic joint ventures and separate accounts totaling more than $3.0B in AUM where he creates and directs investment strategy, investment selection, portfolio execution initiatives and disposition activities. He is also the national Programmatic Development leader for Active Adult, Workforce/Attainable Housing and Micro Housing, working closely with regional acquisition and development teams on sourcing, screening, underwriting, designing, and capitalizing projects. Adam is responsible for the strategic growth and execution of these multifamily adjacent verticals working alongside customer & brand management, research & strategy, capital markets, and investor relations teams.

Prior to Greystar, Adam was in the Real Estate group at Duff & Phelps, a global corporate finance advisory and investment banking firm. He is an Executive Board Member of the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA), an Active Adult Committee Member of the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC), and a Workforce Housing Committee Member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).

Adam received a M.B.A. with distinction from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a B.S. with highest honors in Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he was also a member and captain of the Men’s Golf Team.
