Dr. Daniel Croymans leads an integrated team of clinical, operations, sales, product and analytics professionals to deliver high-quality, personalized and comprehensive care to SCAN members and other older adults in senior living communities. In addition to his managerial role, Dr. Croymans develops key strategies for other SCAN initiatives as the company’s Vice President of Value-based Care. He is committed to improving patient care for as many seniors as possible.
Before joining SCAN, Dr. Croymans held the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations at a health technology startup, focusing on enhancing care in senior living communities through remote patient monitoring. He has also served as the Medical Director of Quality and a primary care physician at UCLA Health. His research in care-delivery design, quality improvement and behavioral economics have been published in leading medical journals, including Nature and the New England Journal of Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Croymans enjoys playing soccer, running and wrestling with Louis, his Olde English Bulldogge. He also cherishes time spent with his wife, a pediatric bone marrow transplant physician at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Croymans received degrees in medicine, business and integrative physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
