Ms. McGurty is a Director at AEW in the firm’s Private Equity Group and works as the Property Sector Leader for seniors housing assets. She leads a team of eight seniors housing asset management specialists who are responsible for the management of over 9,000 seniors housing units with a gross property value in excess of $3.5 billion. Ms. McGurty joined the firm in 2002 and has 20 years of institutional real estate experience, with a focus on seniors housing since 2009. Prior to joining AEW in 2002, Ms. McGurty worked at Arthur Anderson. She has a B.S. and an M.B.A. from Bentley University and holds a Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University.
