Marshall Hillman, MAI, CPA, serves as an Executive Director for JLL Value and Risk Advisory based in Dallas. In this role, he focuses on national valuation and consultation as part of the Seniors Housing and Healthcare sectors. He is a licensed state certified appraiser, a designated Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and has been named a top producer in multiple years.
Mr. Hillman has been involved in the appraisal and consulting field since 2007 and is known nationally for his expertise involving seniors housing and healthcare projects. He has conducted market studies, rent analysis, and various types of valuations for more than 2,500 projects including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, active adult 55+, continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), senior apartments, long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs), short-term acute care hospitals, rehab hospitals, surgery centers, addiction treatment centers and behavioral health facilities. Mr. Hillman has been involved in appraisal matters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining JLL in December 2016, Mr. Hillman was a Managing Director with Integra Realty Resource’s Seniors Housing and Healthcare Specialty Practice. He joined Integra as an Analyst in May 2007. Prior to his work with Integra, Mr. Hillman was an Internal Audit Senior for Tenet Healthcare, specializing in hospital compliance and financial reporting, as well as a Staff Auditor for Deloitte, specializing in financial reporting for governmental and healthcare entities. Mr. Hillman holds a BBA in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy, both from Baylor University.
