Melanie Mooney

Melanie is currently on the asset management team at National Health Investors (NHI) as VP of Operations. In this role, Melanie oversees the SHOP (JV/RIDEA) portfolios and west coast NNN relationships. With 11 years of experience in the senior housing industry, Melanie has held various roles as an operator with Avamere (now Arete) and Morningstar Senior Living, and on the capital side, she spent 2 years as a VP of Asset Management for HCP (now Healthpeak Inc.) (NYSE: PEAK), and she began her senior housing career at Holiday Retirement as a Sr. Director of Asset Management. Outside of the senior housing industry, Melanie holds 9 years of experience as a real estate broker. Prior to healthcare, she has 15 years of experience in Management, Finance and Accounting. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science - Business Management degree from the University of Phoenix.
