Prior to establishing Alder View Capital, Nick Gesue was Chief Credit Officer at Lument Capital and CEO of its predecessor company, ORIX Real Estate Capital. Lument is a top-25 national commercial real estate finance lender, reporting over $8 billion in transaction volume in 2022. Nick began his 23-year career with Lancaster Pollard quickly advancing to Chief Credit Officer overseeing all products and services. Ultimately, he led the company’s strategic direction during the last five years as the CEO, which included the sale of the firm and two successive mergers (the first with Red Capital and second with Hunt Real Estate Capital) to create Lument.
Prior to the mergers, Lancaster Pollard was one of the largest senior living financial services firms with a product offering that included investment banking, mortgage lending, real estate private equity, and proprietary lending. While under Nick’s purview Lancaster Pollard successfully completed over $25 billion in advisory, lending and investing activities across the affordable housing, senior living, and hospital sectors.
Nick graduated from Denison with an economics major. Nick is a member of the Middle Market Committee for the National Investment Center (NIC) and a LEED accredited professional. He is an active mountain biker, runner, and lifter. He lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife and 3 boys who enjoy boating, fishing and scuba diving in the Florida Keys as well as road tripping around the country.
