Currently active in 10 metro markets in 8 states, Bob leads a handpicked team of 16 super-talented development and marketing professionals committed to serving independent living seniors.
Avenida’s progressive and highly focused approach creates age-restricted communities which are both intimate and robust. Their consumer-centric culture led Avenida to establish a property management group in 2018 to exclusively handle lease-up and maintain stabilization for their projects. With a geographically diversified footprint and a multi-brand positioning strategy, Avenida is reaching both the middle-market as well as the upper-middle price points, while delivering the personalized Avenida experience and lifestyle to their residents.
Bob attributes Avenida’s growth and successes in this niche to the support and ground-breaking thought leadership of partner The Carlyle Group along with top-tier institutional and private equity investors including LaSalle Investment Management, i-Star Financial, Passco Companies, Clover Management and Hurst Holdings. Bob is a graduate of the University of Southern California. For over 11 years, he served on the Executive Committee and Board of Huntington Medical Research Institutes, a non-profit collection of 9 bio- medical laboratories conducting early stage research and investigation. He has also been past committee chairman of Foothill Family Services, which provides counseling, shelter, and representation to victims and at-risk families of abuse and domestic violence. Bob is a licensed General Contractor and member of the Urban Land Institute and the Building Industry Association. Avenida Partners is based in Newport Beach, California with a regional office in Nashville, Tennessee.
