Susan DiMickele is President & Chief Executive Officer for National Church Residences, the nation’s largest non-profit provider of affordable housing. She is only the fourth President and CEO in the organization’s 60 plus year history.
Susan previously served as Senior Vice President of Senior Living and Senior Services and has been with the organization since October 2016, where she has been a champion of the organization’s efforts to diversify the services offered and to ensure older adults are able to thrive both at home and within National Church Residences communities. Her experience includes serving as the organization’s first general counsel where she established the legal department before moving into operations. She also served on their Board of Directors from 2014-2016.
Prior to joining National Church Residences, Susan spent over 20 years at Squire Patton Boggs where she co-led the global Labor & Employment Practice Group of more than 125 lawyers in 13 countries and served on the firm’s leadership team during the 2010 UK-based Hammonds merger as well as the 2015 Patton Boggs merger, resulting in an integrated firm of 1600 lawyers spanning 45 offices and 21 countries.
She is an author to many national publications, as well as a personal memoir. Susan and her husband, Doug, have three children and reside in Upper Arlington.
