NIC has engaged NORC at the University of Chicago to collaborate on research with the goal of improving care for older adults across the care continuum as well as driving new investment into the senior housing and care sectors.

Part one of the research study explores frailty across senior housing and care settings. Findings show older adults are less vulnerable in senior housing settings.

Subsequent studies will provide insights on access to health care providers, longevity, and health outcomes of residents in senior living settings.
